Julianne Moore possesses wonderful natural beauty. She has stood the test of time as far as aging goes, some say she is aging as well as the likes of Meryl Streep or dame Helen Mirran, High praise indeed.
On the subject of plastic surgery Julianne Moore has always said she hasn’t had any plastic surgery, Botox or even the slightest bit of work done. Moore has advocated strongly against it from day one and it is hard to argue against that, she looks every bit as pure and radiant as she did back in 2005, 10 years ago.
When quizzed on whether she has had or would ever have any plastic surgery done, Moore responded by saying, “I would never have plastic surgery”, she goes on to add “We’re all just going too far, I know it’s a product of the whole celebrity industry, but it’s something I absolutely detest” Those are incredibly strong words and a most opinionated view on a practice a lot of her peers have gone through with. Moore goes on to call aging “a fact of life” and finishes by saying, “I’m a 43 year old woman, and 43 year old woman have lines, I think imperfections are important, just as mistakes are important. You only get to be good by making mistakes and you only get to be real by being imperfect”. Talk about scathing. She obviously detests the institution and practice of plastic surgery. Her reasons are valid but is there an element of “he(or she in this case) protests the loudest”.
I don’t think there is as there is no evidence at all to suggest otherwise, no matter how hard you look or want to find reasons to prove differently. When asked about Botox she quipped back “I don’t know why woman do Botox, it doesn’t make them look younger it just makes them look like they have had work done. You are not going to look the same as you did at 25. What are you going to do about it?” Her tune never changes when asked and leads you to believe she is extremely resolute about her view and ultimately her decision to not to have any work done. Some may say the jury is out on whether she has had work done but there seems to be overwhelming evidence that she hasn’t, you don’t have to believe her words or statements – just try point out any change in appearance from 10, 15 years ago. You’ll struggle too at best.
In conclusion, Julianne Moore is absolutely against having work done but maybe more damningly, the whole concept of the practice and what it seems to stand for. There is no doubt about her feelings towards the idea and even less doubt she has had any work done to herself. She has always been a natural beauty and that’s the way it will remain. Moore’s attitude is not readily available in Tinseltown or even agreed with which is why it is all the more refreshing. Plastic surgery has always been seen an antidote to aging and been gulped down by more celebrities than not, finally now, we have a woman who embraces aging and even looks forward to it. Unheard of in this day and age.
Do You think like Julianne Moore? Would You too say NO to plastic surgery?
